Belk has opened 10+ outlet locations during the month of May, bringing the retailer’s total outlet count to 16.
These new stores have opened in Georgia, Florida, Louisiana, Maryland, Oklahoma, Texas, Virginia and West Virginia. Each outlet includes discounted merchandise and designer items from the brand’s larger department stores.
Right after opening its first outlet location, the brand recognized the strength in the off-price sector and opened five additional stores. Now they are, once again, expanding that footprint – with growth plans to open even more outlets this year.
Currently, Belk operates around 300 stores in 16 Southeastern states.
