Financial Analyst
Syracuse, NY
The responsibility of the Financial Analyst is to create and maintain financial models for our portfolio of managed properties as well as provide support to senior management in valuations of investment opportunities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Update and maintain Argus models for use in acquisitions, dispositions, and financings
- Prepare quarterly models in ARGUS for assets in the portfolio
- Prepare quarterly cash flow models in Excel for assets in the portfolio
- Coordinate with various departments to prepare forecasts and annual budgets
- Facilitate and/or prepare year-end reconciliations
- Review monthly client reporting packages
- Prepare financial analysis on new and existing tenant leasing proposals
- Conduct and assist in due diligence requests on potential investments as well as existing assets
- Monitor real estate and financial markets industry news and trends
- Assist in special projects as assigned

The financial analyst’s work product is presented to clients and investors. Financial Analysts are expected to:

- Perform other tasks as requested by clients
Qualification Requirements
Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor’s degree (in finance, real estate, or related field preferred)
- Two years of related experience and/or training preferred
- Intermediate Excel Skills
- Knowledge of Yardi software systems preferred
- Knowledge of Argus preferred
