Under Armour announced the appointment of their new Chief Product Officer, Lisa Collier. Collier has more than 30 years of experience in global brand leadership, product development, merchandising and supply chain.
Collier will oversee Under Armour’s category management model, product, merchandising and design functions. She will provide expertise in the specialty retail sector for the company.
Under Armour’s Chief Executive Officer, Patrik Frisk, expressed his excitement towards welcoming Collier to the brand’s leadership team.
“Her strength as a retail leader will be invaluable as we continue to execute against our long-term strategies and work to deliver performance solutions you never knew you needed and can’t imagine living without,” Frisk said.
Collier previously served as the CEO and President of NYDJ (Not Your Daughter’s Jeans). Before that, she held numerous positions at Levi’s Strauss & Co. for 13 years.
Under Armour is looking ahead, past COVID-19, to come out stronger afterwards. Having strong leadership in place will allow the brand to continue to be successful and grow in the retail industry.
