Nordstrom launches new concept to enhance brick-and-mortar experience

Wednesday, Oct 6, 2021

Nordstrom is redefining their brick-and-mortar store layout by launching a new home concept. The retailer will enable a “style-focused destination” to create a home decor section that will span two floors of its New York City flagship.

The product assortment will include kitchen and tabletop, home textiles and home decor. This will include a thoughtful curation of furnishings and objects, including a range of brands and price points. Nordstrom Home will become a destination of discovery for consumers, offering relevant items to make homes more fulfilling, easy, fun and inspiring. Nordstrom plans to bring this new concept nationwide.

“We know that the Nordstrom customer comes to us as a trusted source for fashion when it comes to their wardrobes, and Nordstrom Home serves as an extension of that lifestyle offering by bringing an approachable design-driven point of view into their homes. We wanted to create a style-focused destination for the home by bringing together the best brands out there, [and] we hope that Nordstrom Home will spark a sense of discovery as our customers uncover new brands amongst some of the ones they know and love,” said Olivia Kim, VP of Creative Projects at Nordstrom.
