Dutch denim and lifestyle brand, Scotch & Soda has embraced a rebrand that marks a major expansion for their global and US footprint. Over the next six months, the Amsterdam-native retailer will open 15 brick-and-mortar stores and 12 shop-in-shops worldwide.
Scotch & Soda’s growth initiative will make its way through key markets throughout Europe, North America, the Middle East and Asia-Pacific regions. The brand’s new stores will highlight their “Free Spirit” store concept which includes a seamless integration of omnichannel capabilities.
“With our new identity, we want to define our evolution, mark a new era of brand expression and storytelling with a renewed ambition for growth whilst still managing the negative effects of the Covid-19 pandemic on our current performance. We are relentlessly optimistic about the future and the next chapter of the brand and its story based on the profound values of unity that drive the unique spirit of Amsterdam,” said Frederick Lukoff, Chief Executive Officer at Scotch & Soda.
Scotch & Soda’s stores will exhibit a design that is focused on their original architecture with new branding added throughout. Vintage furniture, brass fixtures, and pops of color are just a few features of the brand’s well-though-out store model.
After recently opening a location in California, Scotch & Soda plans to expand to other US markets – with a Boston store opening this fall. Other locations will include North Carolina, Pennsylvania and additional regions in California. Currently, the retailer has 225 stores and 161 shop-in-shops worldwide.
