Swarovski recently opened a 2,000-square-foot flagship in Shanghai. The new location is the largest store in the company’s portfolio.
The crystal producer is opening “Wonderlab” stores to test out experiential elements in a brick-and-mortar setting. The concept includes a silver room equipped with robotic arms called “The Lab,” a metallic pink “Wonder Room” and a futuristic bedroom named the “Dream Room.”
Swarovski plans to open more of their “Wonderlab” stores in Milan, Paris and London in the coming months. The brand currently operates 430 physical stores.
“It’s really the biggest in the world and has been designed by our creative director Giovanna Engelbert. This will be one of a kind; no other store in the world will look like this one,” said CEO Michele Molon.
