TJX Companies’ most-recent financial report noted an important growth initiative made by the company amid the pandemic. During their fiscal year that ended Jan. 30, the company increased its store count by 43, with a total of 4,572 stores in its footprint.
The company plans to push store growth at a slower pace for 2021. To strengthen their current brick-and-mortar footprint, TJX Companies will have most new store openings planned for 2022.
Ernie Hermann, TJX Chief Executive Officer, remains optimistic for the retailer’s future opportunities with the unique, treasure hunt shopping experience they provide for consumers.
