Yum! Brands Inc. announced Wednesday the completion of its acquisition of The Habits Restaurant, Inc., otherwise known as The Habit Burger Grill. This marks the first fast-casual concept added to the Yum! Brands portfolio.
Yum! Brands Inc. has parented numerous iconic restaurants across the globe, including KFC, Taco Bell and Pizza Hut.
The Habit Burger Grill was named Best Regional Fast Food in USA Today’s 2019 Best Readers’ Choice Awards. The company operates nearly 300 franchised restaurants across the US and China.
Not only did Yum! Brands acquire an award-winning restaurant, but they also gained their loyal fan-base. The Habit Burger Grill offers a variety of unique made-to-order items that are chargrilled over an open flame.
