Dual Brand Hotel by Hilton will be breaking ground soon.
Phoebe Putney, the area’s largest employer, has broken ground on a $40 million project to construct a 127,000 square-foot living and learning center for nurses. Phoebe will guarantee nurses a job once diploma is received with a minimum of $65,000 starting salary. They also broke ground on an Emergency and Trauma Center which is a $140 million project which will have a $400 million economic impact on the city. Once the project is complete, it will create an additional 125- 150 jobs which will increase their payroll by $7 million or more.
